FRIENDS! The Musical Parody is the hilarious new musical that lovingly lampoons TV’s Friends, celebrating the wacky misadventures of your favorite group of 20-something pals as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life, and love in 1990s Manhattan. It’s a seemingly typical day at New York’s only coffee shop, Central Perk, until an unexpected runaway bride with beautiful hair enters the picture and kicks the whole gang out of second gear!
This delightfully naughty confection plucks the best moments from the show’s ten years and recreates the moments through an uncensored, fast-paced, music filled romp, winning over audiences along the way. FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, not only keeps you laughing, but tugs at the heart strings drawing audiences into stories we know and love. You’ll laugh! You’ll cry! You’ll Unagi! Recommended for mature audiences.
Members of the Grand Ole Opry, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent are bluegrass music veterans with a combined 20 years of experience between the two of them, including seasoned tenures with bluegrass and country legends Doyle Lawson and Ricky Skaggs. In 2003, the longtime friends and colleagues were asked to perform on a Koch Records recording titled Christmas Grass Vol.2, 2004. Dailey & Vincent recorded a well-known Christmas song, “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem,” with just a guitar, a mandolin and their two voices. Their stirring version of the song rose to No. 1 on the Prime Cuts of Bluegrass. The song’s success prompted the duo’s decision to perform together more often and perhaps even record again. Bluegrass music’s newest duo, Dailey & Vincent, was born.

James Moors and Kort McCumber grew up in different places and listening to different kinds of music – classical, rock, bluegrass, you name it. But when they met ten years ago they knew they’d found something golden. Since then, they’ve been cultivating their wideranging musical influences in songs that delve into love and life through haunting lyrics, soaring harmonies, and dazzling instrumental proficiency. As Grammy award-winning producer Lloyd Maines puts it, “These guys should be playing every major festival in the country. They bring it all to the stage and deliver it in a big way.”
