Doors: 5:30pm
Northwood’s Band: 7:15pm
Hairball: 8:30pm
A band puts on a concert – Hairball puts on an event! Hairball is a Rock & Roll experience you won’t soon forget. The lights, sound, smoke, fire, bombs, and screaming hoards of avid fans…to merely call it a concert would be like calling Mount Rushmore a roadside attraction!
Vocalists Kris Vox, Dave Moody, and Drew Hart lead the band through a 2+ hour, mind-blowing, and dropdead accurate homage to some of the biggest arena acts in the world. Van Halen, KISS, Motley Crue, Queen, Journey, and Aerosmith are but a few of the acts fans will see brought to life. The Hairball stage becomes an entirely new rock concert before your very eyes countless times throughout the night.
The motor that drives the Hairball dragster consists of HBK on the electric bass, Billy on the drums, and Happy on the lead guitar. These Rock & Roll soldiers pride themselves on nailing some of the most memorable licks and chops of all time, while adding their own style and flare that they’ve cultivated over decades of tireless performing. This isn’t a side job. These guys eat, sleep and breathe Rock & Roll!
2025 finds Hairball celebrating its 25th year of rocking hundreds of thousands of people across the country. Constantly adding more characters, more pyrotechnics, more lights, more sound, more props, more surprises…more everything! While Happy often tells the audience “Today is the first day is the rest of your life!” Hairball performs every show as though it could be their last. Every night is a 100% full-on, no-holds-barred, exciting, chaotic, fiery party that has to be experienced to be believed!
As important to Hairball as the music, are its fans. While many bands claim to have the best fans in the world, Hairball actually has! Whether they are 10 years old or 100, Hairball fans bring an unparalleled enthusiasm and energy to the show that enhances the arena experience. Hairball knows it wouldn’t exist without its fans and takes every opportunity to let them know that.
Whether it’s a pre-show meet and greet, hanging out at the merch booth, or chatting online, Hairball has a lot in common with its fans and it’s always a good time when they get together. Don’t confuse Hairball with the countless “80’s Tribute” bands across the country. Hairball is an experience, an attitude, and expression of music that isn’t simply a retro flashback, it’s a way of life!

Amanda is a Minnesota native and has released music drifting between folk, alt- pop/rock and Americana. With roots as a pianist her writing is thematically varied with an emphasis on melody; with ballads wrapped in warm vocals. In 2016 she received a Front Of The Line Pass from The Voice and her seventh album, “Please Dear Sun,” was nominated for Blues & Roots Radio Album Of The Year. Amanda just released her eighth album called Give Me Away. The songs reflect questions Amanda asks herself regarding the status of her own thoughts and heart, and through her music hopes to convey that the giving of oneself, reinforces goodness in the lives of others. Collaborating with Matt Patrick of The Library Studio of Minneapolis Amanda has created her most stunning recording to date with an insightful blend of rock, pop and folk sounds with an intent to showcase her sultry voice.
“As she hops from one genre to another, she doesn’t try to change, tweak, alter, or reinvent them. She simply owns them. And that is the secret of making yourself stand apart from the pack.” Dave Franklin, The Big Takeover
Her early inspiration came from her family’s loss of her nephew from leukemia and soon after, his father. Her nephew was diagnosed with leukemia and she was moved by his struggle and positive mindset. Bryce asked her to sing to him at the moment he passed away. That was her defining moment in her mind to open herself again to writing and performing. “Rainbow Skies” was written for all the kids at the St Mary’s Hospital who view the outside world through the stained glass rainbow window. Therefore, in 2010 she released a children’s album inspired by his memories called, “Trains, Cars + A Trip To Mars.” Soon after his father also passed away from a sudden brain aneurysm. Amanda wrote some songs from the experience and released, “Embrace” in 2012.
After a successful kickstarter project, she released her first EP called, “Keeping Hearts” in June 2014. That month she appeared at Ed’s No Name bar in Winona with her group Wildflower as the release event.
“Better Life” EP was released in December of 2017 with full length alternative “Rayne Angel” released in November of 2018. Rayne Angel is a flavorful and diverse full length alternative based album, and a truly Minnesota made album; all of the album captured in her own home. Recorded & produced by Fletch Archerd & Amanda Grace.
Her seventh album, “Please Dear Sun” was released in July of 2021 and is her most distinctly dissimilar album yet. The album focuses on humanity’s struggle with real and imagined, physical and mental confinement, as a result of the pandemic in 2020. The album was recorded in her home with Fletch Archerd (bassist/bandmate) and tracks mastered by Mike Milchener.
Amanda loves performing for all ages and on all sized stages. She joined The Mid West Music Festival at its inception. In 2015 and in 2018, she performed on the first day of the Wisconsin music and art festival, Ashley for the Arts. Wildflower joined the Boats & Bluegrass Festival in 2017 and her band played for Big Turn Festival. In 2019, her band performed at Big River Theater, Red Wing Arts Festival, and She Rocks Festival. With the great changes in the live music industry with Covid-19, she worked to move her music services online for a time and joined forces with Land Of 10,000 Streams Festival in 2020. Since then, her band has performed at the Mile Of Music Festival, Historic Paramount Theatre, Hopkins Center For The Arts, the Historic Chateau Theatre of Rochester, The Park Theater, The Landmark Center in St Paul, and the Minnesota State Fair.
Amanda is supported onstage with many outstanding midwest musicians including: Jim Trouten, Amber Fletcher, Peter Boysen, Fletch Archerd, Jake Allen, Jeff Perry, Bob Johnston, John Della-Selva, Dave Casey, Matt Patrick and more.
The Reif Cozy Concert Series features Minnesota-based singer-songwriters performing their own heartfelt and original compositions. You can expect a diverse range of styles, from folk and indie to blues and Americana. Each show offers a unique opportunity to connect with artists and their music in the intimate Ives Theater at The Reif Center. These poignant, stripped-down performances are sure to capture the raw intensity of the gifted storytellers grown right here in our region.
